- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

- 1 teaspoon dried basil

- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
