Ingredients

- π 1 pound Italian sausage casing removed
- π§ 1 cup ricotta cheese

Instructions
- Prep the Noodles:
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions until they are al dente. Drain and lay out on a clean towel to prevent sticking.
- Cook the Sausage:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage and minced garlic, breaking it up into small pieces, until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix the Cheese Filling:
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Assemble the Roll-Ups:
- Lay a lasagna noodle flat. Spread a portion of the cheese mixture along the length of the noodle, then add a spoonful of cooked sausage on top.
- Roll up the noodle carefully and place seam side down in a baking dish that has been spread with some of the marinara sauce.
- Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Spoon the remaining marinara sauce over the roll-ups and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
